On March 24, Amanda Adams-Louis, a photographer, Linda Nader, a fashion designer, and Chat Travieso, an architectural designer, joined us for the first PEER event. They spoke about their careers and what they went through to get where they are. Below are some comments from students.

”I learned that a career in art is more possible than I had thought. And
not only a career but also a successful career. I aspire to be a fashion designer and
[Linda] really inspired me. Her shoes were so adorable, too."

"My favorite part was seeing the examples of the visiting artists' work because it was inspirational to think maybe one day I will create great art like that on my own.. One thing I learned was how you might go to college expecting to study one thing, and come out with a whole different plan for your future- and there is nothing wrong with that."
