Join Hive NYCMozillaTumblrGigantic MechanicInstitute of Play and the People's Production House Pop Squad for a special Summer Code Party event for educators and teens!

It's Free!
This event is all about playing with cool, new digital tools that help you make awesome stuff on the web.
Who should attend?
Anyone in and around NYC that has an interest in becoming a webmaker! You'll be joined by members of Hive NYC, including educators, youth, our families and friends. Everyone is invited, but keep in mind the activities are best suited to those ages 12 and up.
What can I expect?
Think of it as a learning party, with different activities hosted by designers, engineers and staff from Mozilla, Tumblr, Institute of Play, Gigantic Mechanic and People's Production House. You'll get a quick intro to all of the different projects that are available and from there can decide how and where you spend your time--sample them all or take a deep dive into just a few activities.
What should I bring?
While we will be providing some computers, this is also a BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) event. Snacks will be provided.
