About the PEER Program

The Parsons PEER Program is a Pre-College Extra-Curricular Resource Program for youth interested in pursuing higher education in art and design.

The PEER program consists of group-oriented events geared towards exposing students to art and design opportunities with a focus on college readiness.  These events, such as artist talks, art & design workshops and college research sessions, happen approximately 3 times a semester (about 6 times a year) within the supportive environment provided by our Parsons Scholars Mentors and staff.

By applying to this program, students have demonstrated a mature interest in educational opportunities beyond those presented in their high schools. We are very excited to be able to offer this opportunity to support students in their exploration of art and design while preparing to transition into college.
